Business Seminar at the 2016 Tourism Convention

This project was a business seminar requested by the Tottori Convention Bureau Foundation. Tottori Convention Bureau Foundation is a local tourism organization that aims to revitalize the regional tourism activities of Tottori Prefecture by attracting domestic and international large-scale MICE to the prefecture.

In order for Tottori Prefecture to be chosen as a venue for MICE, it is important to appeal and promote the attractiveness of the region both domestically and internationally. Beeans Inc. gave a business seminar with the theme of "Empowerment through branding mindset " to support its branding activity.

Before Beeans Inc. joined

Tottori Prefecture has many beautiful tourist attractions such as the Tottori Sand Dunes and Mizuki Shigeru Road, Tottori Wagyu beef, and Matsuba crab.

Although it has a variety of advantages, it was ranked 40th out of 47th in the prefecture attractiveness and its popularity and brand recognition level were low domestically and internationally.

The regional characteristic of people from Tottori Prefecture tends to be more conservative; this was the main reason Tottori Prefecture didn't know how to promote their advantages and products even they are attractive with high potentiality.

 

Initiatives of Beeans Inc.

In response to the request from Tottori Convention Bureau Foundation, Beeans Inc. focused on the main issue Tottori Prefecture was facing, forming the necessary branding mindset.

We shared the important concept of branding, including understanding the strengths and weaknesses, promoting the strengths, and without rediscovering and conveying the value and attractiveness, it is equal to sharing nothing to outside.

 

Project success

After the business seminar, we were contacted by government officials, company managers, and executives, young entrepreneurs seeking further advice. The seminar became enlightening for the locals to move forward.

We also received a request from Tottori City to the branding activities of relationships building with foreign countries. We successfully played an important role in raising branding awareness.
