    36 Hours of Fuji - Circuit Branding Project

    Beeans Inc. created 36 Hours of Fuji in 2017, a circuit entertainment festival, aiming for offering visitors a brand new experience, more than simply watching races, during their stay at the circuit. As the event management organizer, we used Fuji Speedway at Shizuoka Prefecture as a model circuit, started from the initial planning to the event day operation, created various recreational activities, including outdoor activities, camping, shopping, entertainment performance, and French cultural experience. This new event not only provides visitors a new and fun entertainment experience but also became a successful branding activity for Fuji Speedway.

    Before Beeans Inc. joined

    The general image of a circuit is a place to enjoy motorsports race events; for those who are not interested in cars or races, going to a circuit is not even an option. While the circuit was eager to develop new visitors and new race fans, they found it difficult to create new activities and entertainment at the circuit, especially for developing new visitors who do not have motives to come.

    Initiatives of Beeans Inc.

    Beeans Inc. created a new entertainment event, 36 Hours Of Fuji, at Fuji Speedway that the client we have been working with, as the model circuit case. With the concept of enjoying fun activities at the circuit for 36 hours from Friday to the end of the final race on Sunday; we invited a wide variety of companies to provide visitors different experiences, including playing, eating, drinking, shopping, and camping, etc. 

     

    Project success

    The project started from the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Fuji in 2017, positioning the event with the race as a "festival," successfully created new ways for visitors to enjoy the circuit experience for more than motorsports race events.
